Since my wife helps me on her days off at the construction site, I thought I could at least contribute a bit to our webpage with a weekly update.
First, I'd like to put out a special thanks to Mike Sexton and the boys from Sexton Electric, they did an awesome job, they were awesome to work with. And another to my brother-in-law Cody for doing our HVAC and Gas piping system on his days off.
We started the process of finishing the outside of our house. The contractors have been doing a marvelous job, even though I've had to draw the changes or some of the problems I've seen since English is not an option. Thank God the siders aren't my electricians.
Dealing with PSE this week has been interesting. It's always interesting when they design a system for you, and you install it to their specs, and then when they come back to connect the power, they ask, who told you to put it in this way? According to PSE you can only run 70 ft of electrical cable in a conduit without an open ditch. Unfortunately we have about 300ft of buried conduit. And I am not digging it up.
I've been busy this week building the architectural knee-braces. They've been going along smoothly, but it's more work than it seemed like. It's been putting my miter saw to good use.
I'm too busy working on the house to update stuff everyday, so thank you to my beautiful wife that has done a great job on our webpage.
